Game Recap: U16s Defeat Velocity SC

The Rosevelt Soccer Club U16s beat Velocity SC 3-1 in a 50-minute Gorham Sports Center winter league game Sunday night.

Sam Burghardt ('18) scored in the 9th minute, and Jean-Marc Lahomboli ('18) converted a Noah Drapeau ('18) pass in the 22nd minute to give the Bull Moose a 2-0 lead at halftime. Burghardt added a second goal on a Lahomboli pass with four minutes remaining in the game, and Velocity SC snuck in a goal in the game's final minute.

Jacob Brackett ('18) and Alden Leadley ('20) split goalkeeping duties for Rosevelt.
