Game Recap: RSC U18s Tie CMU in MSPL

The Rosevelt Soccer Club's U18B (3-1-2) team capped its Maine State Premier League regular season with a 3-3 tie against Central Maine United (3-2-1) in Waterville Sunday afternoon.

Sam Mugisha ('19) got the Bull Moose off to a quick start by slotting home an Austin Farwell ('16) cross in the 4th minute. Central Maine United evened the score in the 18th minute, and both teams went into halftime locked at 1-1.

After conceding a goal three minutes into the second half, Rosevelt SC evened the score in the 51st minute when Michael Sanzari ('17) converted a penalty kick. Central Maine United nudged ahead in the 54th minute, but Austin Pierce ('18) put home a Sanzari cross in the 56th minute to cap a four-goal flurry in the first ten minutes of the second half.

Goalkeeper Rowan Daligan ('18) had four saves for Rosevelt.
