Game Recap: U18s Push Past River City

The Rosevelt Soccer Club U18s (2-1) defeated River City Athletics (0-3) in a Maine State Premier League game yesterday afternoon in Gorham.

Michael Sanzari ('17) opened the scoring for the Bull Moose in the 36th minute on a pass from Sean Chase ('16) and Rosevelt SC took the 1-0 lead into halftime. Austin Farwell ('16) converted a penalty kick to open the second half, and Austin Pierce ('18) scored on a Caleb Barlow ('18) pass three minutes later in the 49th minute to extend Rosevelt SC's lead to 3-0. After River City scored in the 64th minute, Sanzari scored off a Farwell pass to close the scoring in the 73rd minute.

Rowan Daligan ('18) had four saves for the Bull Moose.
