Game Recap: U14s Win MSPL Title

Aidan Terravecchia ('19) scored off a Kyle Hamblen ('20) free kick in the 64th minute to give Rosevelt Soccer Club's U14B team (7-1) a 3-2 win over Dirigo (4-3-1) in the Maine State Premier League final in Waterville this afternoon.

Dirigo struck first by lobbing the ball into the goal in the waning minutes of the first half, but the Bull Moose bounced back early in the second half by taking a 2-1 lead on a Owen Flibbert ('20) goal in the 38th minute and a Micah Andujar ('20) penalty kick in the 54th minute. Dirigo evened the game three minutes later, but Terravecchia scored the game-winner with about five minutes remaining in the game.

Oliver Jacques ('20) played in goal for Rosevelt.
